Send Payment Links

Quick path: Sales → Bookings → Row actions → Copy Payment Link → Send to customer

When a booking has a pending balance, you can grab a payment link in one click and send it via email, WhatsApp, or any messaging channel. The customer opens the link, lands on a secure checkout page, and pays with their card. The booking updates automatically once payment goes through.

  • A booking exists with a pending balance
  • A payment gateway (Stripe, PayPal, or Adyen) is configured in Settings

Go to Sales > Bookings in the left sidebar. The list shows all bookings with their status and pending balance.

Use the filters at the top to narrow down:

Look for bookings with a Pending Balance greater than 0.

Hover over the booking row to reveal the action icons on the right side. Click the (three-dot) button to open the actions dropdown.

Click Copy Payment Link. The payment link URL is copied to your clipboard. You can now paste it into:

  • An email to the customer
  • A WhatsApp message (use Contact by WhatsApp from the same menu for a shortcut)
  • Any other messaging channel — SMS, Messenger, etc.

Watch out: The payment link requires an active payment gateway. If no gateway is configured, you’ll see an error message. Set up the payment gateway in Settings first.

Paste the link wherever you communicate with your customer. When they click it, they land on a secure checkout page tied to your payment gateway where they can pay the pending balance by card.

When the customer opens the payment link:

  1. A checkout page appears showing the booking details and pending amount
  2. They enter their card details through the payment gateway (Stripe, PayPal, or Adyen)
  3. Once payment is confirmed, they see a success confirmation

No account creation is needed. The customer just pays and they’re done.

Once the customer pays, the booking updates automatically:

  • Pending Balance drops to 0 (or reflects the remaining amount for partial payments)
  • Booking Status changes to Confirmed (if fully paid)
  • The payment appears on the booking detail page under the Payments tab

Instead of copying the link manually, you can send a payment request email directly from Bloowatch:

  1. Select the booking checkbox in the Bookings list
  2. Click Send Email in the bottom action bar
  3. Choose the Payment Request email type

The customer receives an email with a payment button that takes them to the same checkout page.

  • Verify your payment gateway is active and correctly configured in Settings
  • Check that the booking has a pending balance (fully paid bookings don’t generate payment links)
  • Ask the customer to try a different browser or clear their cache
  • Contact Bloowatch Support via the chat widget
